About me

Akio Ikeda was born in Nagasaki Prefecture, on June 11, 1960. He received the M.D. degree from the Department of Internal Medicine, Saga Medical School, Saga, Japan in 1985.,He became an Assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine, Saga Medical School, in 1985. He was the Clinical Fellow in Epilepsy, Neurology Clinical Physiology Department, and American Cleveland Clinic. He was an Assistant Lecturer of Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. From 2007, he was an Associate Professor in Department of Neurology, Kyoto University. His research interests include epilepsy, neurology clinical physiology.,Mr. Ikeda is the member of the American Society for Neuroscience, Japan Neuroscience Society, Japan Society of Internal Medicine, Japan Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, and Japan Epilepsy Society.
