About me

Dr. Shariat is the Department Chair and Professor of Urology at his medical school alma mater, the University of Vienna, Austria. He has had a collaborative history of working with our department as a full-time faculty member at Weill Cornell Medical College from 2010 to 2013. Dr. Shariat continues to have a reputation for cutting-edge research and practices in the field of Urologic Oncology. Dr. Shahrokh Shariat has been recognized year after year as one of America's Top Urologists by the Consumer Research Council of America. He has published more than 350 research papers and a dozen book chapters, is the holder of five patents stemming from his research into prostate cancers and bladder cancers, and is the recipient of several national and international rewards.
