Jean-Philippe Collet
Dr Jean-Philippe Collet is a Professor of Cardiology at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital (APHP) where he leads the department of cardiovascular disease. He is also the director of Cardiovascular Training Program at Sorbonne Université. His main expertise is in the field of thrombosis, the effect of antithrombotic agents and the development of new devices for structural heart intervention. He is a member and a founder of the Academic Research Organisation A.C.T.I.O.N (Alliés in Cardiovascular Trials, Initiatives and Organized Networks) (www.action-coeur.org). He has led clinical trials as a principal investigator (AMERICA, DOSAPI, ARCTIC and ATLANTIS). He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, a member of the nucleus of the WG Thrombosis and a member of the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee. He has served as Chair of the EAPCI scientific program for two years and the 2020 NSTE-ACS guidelines.
