Keith AA Fox
Professor Keith Fox is a globally renowned expert in the field of Cardiology, with an illustrious career spanning over three decades. He has held numerous prestigious positions throughout his career, including Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, USA, and Senior Lecturer in Cardiology and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff. As the former Head of Division of Medical and Radiological Sciences of the University of Edinburgh, and British Heart Foundation Professor of Cardiology, Professor Fox has made significant contributions to the field of cardiology. He was President of the British Cardiovascular Society from 2009 to 2012 and currently serves as the Chair of the Scientific Programme of the European Society of Cardiology (2012-2014). He is a founding fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, and has served as a board member and lead for ischaemic heart disease on the Scientific Committee for the ESC Programme. Professor Fox is highly sought after as a speaker and has delivered State-of-the-Art presentations on acute coronary syndromes at the American Heart Association and key plenary lectures at the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and all major international meetings. His contributions to the field of cardiology have been widely recognized, and he was awarded the prestigious Silver Medal of the European Society of Cardiology in 2010 for his exceptional achievements.
